The prototype I received is 3D-printed, hence heavier than the retail one, but it’s already the lightest gaming mouse I’ve ever used. Indeed, the final version is said to weigh 68g. This design choice has a dual purpose: firstly it allows the fan to do its job at ventilating your palm without being a hazard and secondly, it shaves off a considerable chunk off the device’s weight. The open, honeycomb structure does confer some degree of originality. From a design aspect, the Zephyr looks quite generic, not that it’s a bad thing but some originality to the design would be welcome.
